Welcome to the Southeast Asia Club (SEA Club)! SEA Club is funded by the Student Association and sponsored by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) at NIU. Established in 1969, the club's primary goal is to bring knowledge about Southeast Asia to the NIU community and greater Chicago-land area. We host annual cultural events, noodle nights, and spring student conference that brings in a prominent Southeast Asia scholar as keynote speaker and offers student scholars the opportunity to present their research on Southeast Asian topics.  In cooperation with the CSEAS outreach coordinator, we reach out to area K-12 schools to spread knowledge about Southeast Asia. Our members volunteer at local non-profit organizations in the DeKalb community. Thank you for taking an interest in the SEA Club!

All NIU students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join.
