Facilities Planning & Operations
Facilities Planning and Operations ensures long-term stewardship of NIU’s campus physical environment, enhancing the quality and functionality of the physical assets in support of NIU’s mission. As seven individual departments we work together to plan, design, construct, inspect, operate, and maintain highly sustainable facilities. Collectively, we are driven by our values of accountability, stewardship, service, and creating and sustaining a healthy and safe environment.
