Payment

Purchases may be made by check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Credit card orders must include cardholder name, account number, and expiration date. Checks must be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a bank with branches in the U.S. Please make checks payable to Northern Illinois University, and include shipping charges.

Shipping

Domestic U.S. orders for monographs and texts are sent via UPS. International orders are sent via the U.S. Postal Service. UPS shipping charges are calculated at the following rates:

$6 for the first book
$1 for each each additional book
$1 additional per language textbook

Full U.S. international postage rates apply to international orders; due to rising postage rates, we are sorry that we can no longer offer discounted postage for international orders. Inquire about your nearest international distributor.

Back issues of our journals are treated as monographs.

Booksellers

Southeast Asia Publications welcomes orders from booksellers and guarantees prompt delivery of all orders received: 1 to 2 weeks for domestic U.S. orders and 2 to 4 weeks for international orders. Our standard bulk-order discount for booksellers is 20 percent.

Returns policy  NEW

  • Books must be returned within 90 days from purchase.
  • A “Request to Return” must be sent to Southeast Asia Publications before we will accept any returned books.
  • Returns are limited to 10 percent of the original order.
  • Audiotapes, audio CDs, and MP3 CDs are non-returnable.

Desk copies

Southeast Asia Publications will provide desk copies to instructors as long as: 10 or more copies of the book have been ordered by a local bookstore and the instructor has not previously received a desk copy. Please mail or fax a request on school letterhead to the address above. Please include the instructor's name and address, the course title, the semester or quarter the course is being taught, and the title and ISBN of the book requested.

Review copies

To request a review copy, please mail or fax a request on letterhead to the SEAP Editor at the address above. Please include the reviewer's name and contact information, along with the title and ISBN of the book requested.
