LTCY 100 is a five-week; one credit hour course designed to assists students with preparation for the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP). Students are introduced to TAP subarea content, test format, and test taking and study strategies. Self-Regulatory and metacognitive study strategies are emphasized as students, through diagnostic assessment, identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in TAP subarea content.
Language Arts Tutoring Hours Monday: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday: 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – Noon and 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
All tutoring appointments must be scheduled in advance. Reading Comprehension tutoring is available by request. Please register for and attend a workshop in Reading Comprehension and Language Arts prior to requesting one on one tutoring in those content areas.
All workshops are held in Founders Memorial Library, Room 265.
